I pretty much dig Illustrator because it is so challenging! Here's a drawing of a dog using the pen tool and a gradient mesh. It's rough, but it was my first time using it. Probably about 6 hours of work right there! At least I drew a puppy dog and didn't have to stare at something ugly for that long! :)
